The Jobri Kneeling Chair helps reduce lower back pain by encouraging shared weight bearing through the pelvis and lower legs.
It increases the angle between the torso and thighs by tilting the pelvis forward and dropping the thighs below the hips. This provides greater lumbar curvature than traditional office chairs and encourages correct spinal alignment akin to a natural standing position.
Continued use of the Jobri kneeling chair increases strength in abdominal and back muscles. These muscles are engaged subtly when sitting in a kneeling chair as there is no back rest to rely on.
