 The Contemporary Therapod is designed to provide orthopaedically-correct back support, comfort and durability and can be configured specifically to suit the back shape of each individual user.
Inside each Contemporary Therapod chair is a patented adjustable strapping system that maintains full support of the back, regardless of the seated position. A combination of four adjustable straps results in a back support that conforms to the back shape of the user:
Strap 1: upper back, thoracic support
Strap 2 & 3: mid-back lumbar support
Strap 4: lower back sacrum support
In addition the Therapod back shell is highly flexible, which means that as the user moves back and forth throughout their working environment the Therapod chair moves with them and provides 100% support – not resistance.
The Contemporary Therapod chair is fitted with a epron synchron mechanism and supplied with a 10 year warranty.
