The 'Clam Round' seat is fitted with steel foot-ring, adjustable seat height, back rest height and tilt; with a choice of castors. The default model (Clam Premium) is fitted with standard castors or glides according to preference. Soft, or brake unloaded, castors can be fitted at additional cost.
Polyurethane or PU seating has the advantage of being very robust and easily cleaned, making it suitable for most industrial, lab or workshop environments. The Clam PU seat has been moulded to suit most body types, and is suitable for multiple person use over different shifts.
Our Clam chairs are now also fitted with our 'wine glass' inverse segmented gas lift cover to minimise dust. The Clam is also available with a slighlty smaller square seat: "Clam Square"; or in a budget version, the 'Clam Economy', a similar but less expensive specification to the above, built for occasional seating, with a one year warranty.
